Suicide Prevention in Adolescents: How Parents Can Take Action

In this webinar led by psychoanalyst, author, and parent guidance expert Erica Komisar, LCSW, we will explore the neuroscience of adolescent suicide, including the underlying brain changes and risk factors associated with suicidal thoughts and behaviors. We will also discuss practical strategies for assessing and intervening with adolescents at risk. By the end of the webinar, participants will have gained a deeper understanding of the brain mechanisms involved in adolescent suicide and will be better equipped to identify and support adolescents at risk. They will also be able to be more proactive in noticing the signs of severe adolescent depression and anxiety and tools to find the right help.
